While creating this unique design, our artist has been inspired by the old Azerbaijani traditional art of carper weaving, as well as by the old traditions of celebration of Novruz Bayrami. This national holiday represents a remarkable and cheerful event - the end of winter and the beginning of spring. \\n \\n Novruz (translated as New Day), or Azerbaijani New Year, is celebrated on March 21. On September 30, 2009 Novruz was included in UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and ever since, the 21st of March is known as International Novruz Day.

Stylish patterns of people dancing “yalli” (traditional dance) around the bonfire and cocks used in the design reflect the traditions and customs of this beautiful holiday. The bonfire in the middle of the composition is a symbol of purification by the power of fire, as according to the old traditions of Novruz each family member has to jump over the fire in order to get rid of all the negative energy accumulated through the year. «Yalli» symbolizes solidarity and peace.

Elements in the form of a cock, positioned on the edges of the composition, represent the traditional cockfighting that can be seen during upcoming Novruz celebration.
