Grapes

When we say Baku, Azerbaijan and Absheron, it is the flames, oil, fabulous carpets, olives, grapes, saffron, and other blessings that cometo our mind. Everlasting attraction – the vineyards nurtured by Absheron’s golden sand and sultry sun, grapes’ root, peel, the fruit itself, the juice and the leaf cure thousands of illnesses. Grape leaves are the main ingredient in our antioxidant cuisine with the national dish “dolma” included in the UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” which is also used as rich in vitamins natural dyestuff, abgora, vinegar, unforgettable grape syrup (doshab), grandmothers dyeing ropes and plant ornaments in Baku and Guba’s carpets. 

Curved lines of the vineyard completes the overall landscape and allows to clearly convey the idea of the carpet piece. Grape bestows health upon people and prevents aging. The colors and beauty of the grapes inspires our spirit, while Caspian Sea’s blue water, Absheron’s golden sands and light of the Sun bring serenity to our souls. Creativity evokes love.
